PITA (Praise In This Age) is one the fastest rising contemporary, Christian artistes in Nigeria. With his quirky song writing/vocal talent and a non-conformist streak, Pita has started to take Nigeria’s music scene by storm.
Pita is no doubt wired differently from the regular Christian artiste, this was evident in the eclectic mix in his debut album “As I Am;The Journey So Far” released from the stables of SonG23 records. The album chronicles his life struggles and his faith in God. It was released in July 2013 to much acclaim. The album also got him the “Praise Song Of The Year” and “Artiste Of The Year” awards at the 2014 Crystal awards. He is known for his electrifying live music ministry supported by the band Team Pita. Post his Debut album, he has released two singles: “One Man” and “I’m Your Soldier”
He is a much sought-after artiste and minister who has shared the stage with Donnie McClurkin, Micah Stampley, Sammie Okposo, Timi Dakolo, Lara George and many others.
He recently rounded off a mini US music tour . He is set to release a couple of hit singles in 2016.
